Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen is "optimistic" he'll be able to play on Thursday Night Football despite exiting Sunday's game versus the Detroit Lions with a hamstring injury, he told Chad Graff of The Athletic.
Thielen suffered the injury after hauling in a 25-yard touchdown catch in the first quarter. He'll undergo additional tests Monday.

Thielen left the contest with one reception on two targets for 25 yards and the touchdown. An undrafted rookie in 2013, he has never missed a game due to injury in his career.
Minnesota earned a 42-30 victory in Detroit, improving to 5-2 on the season.
