New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara won't play Sunday versus the Chicago Bears due to knee and ankle injuries, the team announced in its injury report.
Kamara battled through the pain in Week 6 but missed practice each of the last three days. He'll join quarterback Drew Brees and tight end Jared Cook - who will be sidelined with his own ankle injury - on the shelf.
The 24-year-old has rushed for 373 yards and a touchdown over his first six games this season, adding 276 yards and a score receiving. Latavius Murray will assume his spot in the starting lineup.
New Orleans rides a four-game win streak into the contest with the 3-2 Bears.
