The Denver Broncos are optimistic that receiver Emmanuel Sanders, who left Sunday's win over the Tennessee Titans after aggravating a knee injury, will be ready for Thursday's divisional clash against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 7, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Sanders was limited in two practices last week because of the knee issue, but he wasn't given an injury designation for Week 6.
Denver's training staff reportedly kept Sanders on the sideline against Tennessee due to the level of pain he was in.
The 31-year-old Sanders has scored two touchdowns this season. He also ranks second on the Broncos in receiving yards with 307 behind Courtland Sutton.
