The undermanned Dallas Cowboys suffered another injury blow early against the New York Jets.
Wide receiver Amari Cooper exited Sunday's game after aggravating a quad injury that kept him limited in practice during the week. He was initially deemed questionable to return before being ruled out for the day early in the second half.
The Cowboys' offense was already missing wide receiver Randall Cobb and starting offensive tackles Tyron Smith and La'el Collins.
Cooper had carried Dallas' passing attack through five games. Entering Week 6, he was second in the NFL in receiving yards (512) and trailed only Chris Godwin in receiving touchdowns (five).
