Report: Cardinals don't want to trade Peterson despite fielding multiple calls

The Arizona Cardinals have fielded calls from at least three teams interested in trading for veteran cornerback Patrick Peterson in recent weeks, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
However, Arizona remains uninterested in trading Peterson, Schefter adds.
The eight-time Pro Bowler is nearing the end of his six-game suspension. He'll be eligible for next week's game against the New York Giants.
Peterson has spent his first eight seasons in the desert. He requested a trade last season when the Cardinals were in the midst of a league-worst 3-13 campaign.
The 29-year-old retracted his request this summer, claiming he would "love to be a Cardinal for life."
The NFL's Oct. 29 trade deadline is just over two weeks away.
