The Tennessee Titans released kicker Cairo Santos, the team announced Monday.

Cody Parkey, who was brought in during September for the same tryout that landed Santos the job, is expected to sign with the team Tuesday, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero report.

Tennessee's decision to part ways with Santos comes after the six-year veteran missed all four of his field-goal attempts during a Week 5 loss to the Buffalo Bills.

Santos is perfect on extra points so far this season, but the Brazilian has gone a paltry 4-for-9 in field-goal attempts.

Parkey, meanwhile, was released by the Chicago Bears in February after the infamous double-doink kick that cost his team a wild-card game last season. The Titans will be Parkey's fifth stop in as many years.
