Report: Trubisky to make return vs. Saints
Chicago Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky will play Sunday against the New Orleans Saints after missing one game with a left shoulder injury, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports, citing sources.
Trubisky was officially listed as questionable Friday after practicing in full for three straight team sessions coming out of the bye week.
Chase Daniel took the reins of the Bears' offense with Trubisky on the sideline, entering in relief in a Week 4 win over the division-rival Minnesota Vikings and getting the start in a losing effort to the Oakland Raiders in London.
Trubisky struggled prior to the injury, completing 65.1% of his passes for just 588 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions.
Chicago enters Week 7 sitting third in the NFC North with a 3-2 record.
