Browns GM calls Beckham trade rumors 'fake news'
Cleveland Browns general manager John Dorsey shut down all speculation of a trade involving receiver Odell Beckham Jr.
With the Browns struggling out of the gates at 2-3, rumors emerged this past week that the team was listening to offers for the frustrated wideout.
"That's fake news," Dorsey told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Dorsey insisted Cleveland has not fielded any calls for Beckham and is not interested in dealing him ahead of the Oct. 29 trade deadline.
The Browns traded for the three-time Pro Bowler this offseason, but he's gotten off to a slow start with his new team. Beckham has 23 receptions on 43 targets for 335 yards and one touchdown after five games. He's on pace for 74 catches, 1,072 yards, and three touchdowns, which would be career lows for a full campaign.
