Dallas Cowboys left tackle Tyron Smith sustained a high ankle sprain late in Sunday night's loss to the New Orleans Saints, team owner Jerry Jones said postgame, according to The Athletic's Jon Machota.

Smith was engaged with a defender on the final drive of the game when quarterback Dak Prescott rolled into his right leg. He was carted off after the play.

Any missed time for the two-time All-Pro and six-time Pro Bowler would be a significant blow to the Cowboys' offense.
