Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford is expected to play Sunday versus the Kansas City Chiefs, ESPN's Jeremy Fowler and Adam Schefter report.
Stafford was a surprise addition to the team's injury report Friday with a hip issue, but he's reportedly dealing with a back issue. Nonetheless, the veteran pivot is expected to play in a battle of undefeated teams in Week 4.
The 2-0-1 Lions will host the 3-0 Chiefs in one of two matchups between undefeated teams Sunday.
