New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman suffered a chest injury in Sunday's 30-14 win over the New York Jets.
X-rays came back negative, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, who reports that, more specifically, the injury is to Edelman's rib.
Edelman suffered the injury before halftime, but the Patriots didn't declare him out for the rest of the game until the fourth quarter.
The 33-year-old wideout caught seven passes for 62 yards and his first touchdown of the year before getting hurt. The Super Bowl LIII MVP entered Week 3 tied with Phillip Dorsett for the team lead in receiving with 134 yards.
