Report: Dolphins' Kenyan Drake on trading block
The Miami Dolphins have spoken to several teams about a trade involving running back Kenyan Drake, according to Fox's Jay Glazer.
The news comes after a report the Dolphins had several players ask for trades after the brutal 59-10 loss the team suffered against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 1.
Glazer did not mention which teams have been in talks for the running back, and Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reported the claims of a Drake trade are false, per a club source. Salguero also said Drake has not requested a trade at this time.
Drake has been a steady presence in the Dolphins' backfield for the last few years, gaining national fame in 2018 after beating the New England Patriots on the wild hook-and-lateral play that came to be known as the "Miami Miracle."
Drake is with the Dolphins for their matchup with the Patriots in South Florida on Sunday and put up 12 yards on the ground during the team's season-opening loss last week.
