Antonio Brown garnered significant interest as a free agent after being released from the Oakland Raiders on Saturday.
Brown's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, said there was a robust market for the four-time All-Pro receiver, despite his erratic behavior during a six-month stint with the Raiders, ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports.
Among the teams showing interest were the Cleveland Browns and Seattle Seahawks, according to Mortensen. Though teams confirmed interest in the star receiver, other clubs ultimately believed a Brown-New England Patriots union was a "fait accompli."
The Patriots reportedly agreed to a one-year deal worth up to $15 million with Brown, which includes a $9-million signing bonus.
