The Los Angeles Rams are going into the season "blind" in regards to how running back Todd Gurley's knee will respond to live action, Jay Glazer of FOX Sports reports.
"The Rams are kinda going into this blind. They have no idea how the knee's going to respond today or any week this season," Glazer said on the pregame broadcast.
A knee injury limited Gurley's effectiveness toward the end of the 2018 regular season and during the Rams' run to Super Bowl LIII. He recorded one 100-plus-yard game from Week 14 onward.
Head coach Sean McVay announced this week that Gurley won't be limited during the team's Week 1 contest against the Carolina Panthers.
