Hunt barred from Browns' facilities during suspension
Cleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt won't be permitted inside the team's facility during his eight-game ban, NFL spokesperson Brian McCarthy told the Associated Press' Tom Withers in an email.
Hunt's suspension begins Saturday.
The Browns had asked league commissioner Roger Goodell to allow Hunt to be around his teammates for support during his punishment.
Cleveland signed Hunt in March, three months after his release from the Kansas City Chiefs.
The 24-year-old was suspended for two violent off-field incidents, including one in which video emerged of him shoving and kicking a woman in a hotel hallway.
Hunt has 17 rushing yards on seven carries through two preseason appearances. He totaled 1,202 yards from scrimmage with 14 touchdowns in 11 games last season.
