When the Dallas Cowboys return to Texas from their tropical trip, Ezekiel Elliott will apparently be waiting for them.
The star running back was spotted on a flight from Mexico, where he'd been working out at his agent's home in Cabo San Lucas amid his holdout for a new contract.
But Elliott ending his training south of the border doesn't mean talks for a new deal have advanced, a source told Mike Fisher of Maven Sports.
ALERT: Source close to #EzekielElliott situation tells me that regarding of RB apparent travel plans, they are NOT an indication of movement in #Cowboys negotiations. pic.twitter.com/Ao7tbFaHMs

Mike Leslie of WFAA also reports an extension has not been reached, though the team remains optimistic a new deal will be completed soon.
The Cowboys are currently in Hawaii ahead of their preseason game against the Los Angeles Rams in the state's first exhibition contest since 1976.
