The Detroit Lions placed their marquee offseason signing, defensive end Trey Flowers, on the physically unable to perform list ahead of training camp.
Flowers underwent minor shoulder surgery and was working with the Lions' rehab group during mandatory minicamp. The four-year pro can come off the PUP list at any time.
Detroit signed Flowers to a five-year, $90-million contract in free agency.
