Suspended Dallas Cowboys defensive end Randy Gregory will apply for reinstatement in the league within the next 10 days, reports David Moore of the Dallas Morning News, citing sources.
The 26-year-old reportedly hopes to rejoin the team in time for training camp.
The NFL suspended Gregory for the fourth time in his short career in February for violating the league's substance abuse policy and the terms of his conditional reinstatement. Despite the suspension, the Cowboys reportedly signed Gregory to an extension through the 2020 campaign.
Gregory was suspended twice in the 2016 season and drew a year-long ban in 2017. He was reinstated in 2018, playing in 14 games and recording six sacks in what was far and away his best season as a pro.
