Kyler Murray has signed his rookie contract and will join the Arizona Cardinals for their rookie minicamp Friday, according to Darren Urban of the team's official site.

Murray signed the standard four-year rookie deal with a team option for a fifth season. His contract includes a $23.59-million signing bonus and is expected to total roughly $35 million.

Murray famously earned a $4.6-million signing bonus upon being drafted ninth overall by the Oakland Athletics in last June's MLB draft. Murray was reportedly paid $1.5 million of the bonus and is expected to repay $1.29 million while forfeiting the rest after choosing football over baseball.

Fellow Cardinals draftees Andy Isabella, Hakeem Butler, Deionte Thompson, Lamont Gaillard, and Michael Dogbe have yet to sign their rookie deals.
