Report: Seahawks' Clark drawing trade interest amid contract uncertainty

The Seattle Seahawks concluded their most important business of the offseason by extending Russell Wilson, but the outcome of their other vital contract negotiation is still up in the air.

Several teams around the league are reportedly interested in a potential trade for franchise-tagged defensive end Frank Clark, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. Rapoport says it's a "possibility" the Seahawks opt to trade Clark instead of handing over a big-money extension or risking a lengthy holdout.

The asking price could be a first-round pick, according to Rapoport.

Clark has yet to sign his one-year, $17.1-million tender. The pass-rusher reportedly doesn't intend to show up for training camp without a new deal, though general manager John Schneider said Thursday that he expects Clark to report to the team.

The 25-year-old established himself as one of the league's top pass-rushers with 22 sacks over the past two seasons.
