With the 2019 NFL Draft only hours away, Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray "would be shocked" if he didn't go No. 1 overall, a source told ESPN's Josina Anderson.

Murray has been considered for months as the favorite to be the first pick in the draft but nothing has been confirmed. It was reported earlier Thursday that the Arizona Cardinals, who hold the first overall selection, are keeping their options open.

The Cardinals have had discussions with the agents of the top three prospects (Murray, Ohio State pass-rusher Nick Bosa, and Alabama defensive lineman Quinnen Williams), NFL Network's Michael Silver reports.

Murray won the Heisman Trophy with the Sooners in 2018 and made the highly debated decision to pursue a football career over one in baseball.
