The Cincinnati Bengals have re-signed veteran tight end Tyler Eifert to a one-year contract, a source told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Eifert saw action in four games last year before a broken ankle ended his campaign. He's managed only 14 appearances over the last three seasons due to a variety of significant injuries.
The Bengals selected Eifert, a former Notre Dame star, in the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft. He had his most productive season in 2015, posting 615 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns.
