The Philadelphia Eagles agreed to a one-year contract extension through 2021 with center Jason Kelce, the team announced.

Kelce's new deal is a three-year pact valued at $11 million per season, which would make him the NFL's highest-paid center, according to Sirius XM's Adam Caplan.

Philadelphia continues to prioritize extending its veteran players, as the team re-signed impending free agent Brandon Graham to a three-year contract on Friday.

Reports surfaced that Kelce would contemplate retirement following the 2018-19 campaign, but his new deal will keep him in town for the next three seasons.

Kelce has emerged as one of the league's premier centers, as he's started all 16 regular-season games during each of the last four years.
