Michael Thomas is doing whatever he can to correct the New Orleans Saints' heartbreaking loss to the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Championship Game.

The star receiver tweeted an interesting NFL rule Monday that allows commissioner Roger Goodell to reverse the result of games in the event of "extraordinarily unfair acts."

The NFL Rulebook states the following:

"The commissioner's powers under this Section 2 include the imposition of monetary fines and draft-choice forfeitures, suspension of persons involved in unfair acts, and, if appropriate, the reversal of a game's result or the rescheduling of a game, either from the beginning or from the point at which the extraordinary act occurred. ... In all cases, the commissioner will conduct a full investigation, including the opportunity for hearings, use of game video, and any other procedure the commissioner deems appropriate."

Thomas apparently did more than just tweet about the rule.

Saints head coach Sean Payton lamented the non-call that should've gone against Rams cornerback Nickell Robey-Coleman for blatant pass interference and said the league admitted blowing the call.

However, the preceding article of Rule 17, Section 2 states: "The commissioner will not apply authority in cases of complaints by clubs concerning judgmental errors or routine errors of omission by game officials. Games involving such complaints will continue to stand as completed."
