Los Angeles Rams star running back Todd Gurley was taken off the team's injury report Thursday and is expected to play in Saturday's divisional-round matchup with the Dallas Cowboys.

The reigning NFL Offensive Player of the Year missed Los Angeles' final two games of the regular season due to a knee injury. He returned to practice in a limited capacity Wednesday.

It's unclear if head coach Sean McVay will allow Gurley to play his usual amount of snaps or opt to keep him fresh by using C.J. Anderson, who rushed for 299 yards combined in the two games Gurley missed.

In 14 contests this season, Gurley rushed for 1,251 yards and 17 touchdowns while adding another 580 yards and four scores through the air.
