Report: Titans place Casey on IR

The Tennessee Titans are placing defensive lineman Jurrell Casey on injured reserve with a strained MCL, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

It's a crushing loss for the Titans, who now enter Week 17's do-or-die game against the Indianapolis Colts without their best defensive player.

Casey was named to his fourth consecutive Pro Bowl after recording 62 tackles, seven sacks, and two forced fumbles this season.

The veteran lineman suffered the injury during Saturday's victory over the Washington Redskins.
