The 3 best prop bets for Chargers-Chiefs

After hitting two of our three recommended prop bets for last Sunday's prime-time game between the Los Angeles Rams and Chicago Bears, we're delivering our three favorite wagers for Thursday night's AFC West battle between the Los Angeles Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs.

Travis Kelce Under 6.5 receptions (+120)

Kelce might be cementing himself as the league's best tight end, but we're not exactly a fan of the matchup against an improving Chargers defense allowing opposing tight ends to snag just 4.4 passes per game. Kelce was swarmed by L.A. in the first meeting of the season, netting one reception despite being targeted six times. That's been a common theme against the division rival, as he has fewer than two catches in three of the previous five games between the two.

Philip Rivers Under 280.5 passing yards (-114)

Rivers has put up some big numbers this season; over the last five games, he's accounted for 14 touchdowns against three interceptions. However, he isn't lighting it up on a weekly basis, topping the 280-yard mark through the air just twice in the last six outings. He's also seen a drastic drop in production when on the road, averaging 239.8 passing yards as opposed to 314.1 at home this season. He tore up the Chiefs' secondary for a season-high 424 yards back in Week 1, but Arrowhead Stadium hasn't been kind to opposing quarterbacks - only one of the six starting pivots to play there this season has surpassed 280 yards.

Tyrell Williams Under 38.5 receiving yards

Williams has seen a significant dip in output as of late. Following a three-game stretch during the middle of the season in which he caught 10 passes for 302 yards and three touchdowns, the wideout comes into Thursday having been targeted three times or fewer in five of the previous six games, accumulating more than 23 yards just once over that span. Kansas City's defense hasn't let Williams beat them deep over the last three games, allowing an average of 7.7 yards per reception.
