Arizona Cardinals receiver Christian Kirk was placed on injured reserve after breaking his foot in Week 13 on Sunday against the Green Bay Packers, head coach Steve Wilks announced Monday.
Kirk left in the fourth quarter during the Cardinals' 20-17 victory. He finished the game with three receptions for 54 yards.
The rookie ends his season with 43 catches, a team-leading 590 yards, and three touchdowns in 12 games played. The injury's a big blow to an already underwhelming Cardinals offense that ranks last overall in points and yards this season.
Chad Williams and J.J. Nelson will likely be in line for more snaps at receiver.
