Rams expect Talib to play vs. Lions
Kirby Lee / USA TODAY Sports
Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay said Thursday that the team anticipates corner Aqib Talib will return Sunday against the Detroit Lions, according to NFL.com's Tom Pelissero.
Talib has been sidelined since Week 3 with an ankle injury. He'll provide a much-needed boost to a Rams secondary that ranks 27th in yards per pass attempt (8.1).
The five-time Pro-bowler has nine combined tackles, a forced fumble, and two pass deflections in his three games started this season.
