Andrew Luck took a big hit from Miami Dolphins safety Reshad Jones after catching a pass and converting a fourth-and-1 on Sunday, and the Indianapolis Colts quarterback thinks that might be a fitting way to cap off his receiving career.

It was Luck's second target in consecutive weeks, and the drive ended with a Colts touchdown. Indianapolis eventually defeated the Dolphins 27-24.

"I thought I was (retired), now I am," Luck said on playing receiver, according to the Indianapolis Star's Joel A. Erickson and Scott Horner. "I think I am."

Colts fans may not have enjoyed seeing their quarterback hit the turf, but Luck, who missed the entire 2017 season with a shoulder injury, says he wasn't bothered by the hit.

"I'll be honest, I didn't think about my shoulder until I walked into the training room and they asked, 'Hey, is your shoulder good, Andrew?'" Luck said. "I was like, 'Yeah, it feels great.'"

Luck was inches away from a touchdown catch in Week 11 against the Tennessee Titans.
