Bears' Daniel to start vs. Lions on Thanksgiving

The Chicago Bears will start Chase Daniel at quarterback for their Thanksgiving Day matchup with the Detroit Lions.
Regular starter Mitchell Trubisky is dealing with a right shoulder injury he suffered in Sunday night's win over the Minnesota Vikings and was listed as inactive for Thursday's game. The short turnaround apparently didn't allow enough time for a recovery.
As a result, Daniel will make just his third career start - in a matchup with playoff implications. The 7-3 Bears currently lead the NFC North by 1.5 games over the Vikings with six contests remaining.
The 4-6 Lions are hoping to remain in the hunt for a wild-card spot. However, they'll be without running back Kerryon Johnson and receiver Marvin Jones against the Bears.
