Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver DeSean Jackson will pay tribute to Rodney King in an upcoming game.
Jackson's cleats feature the "Black Lives Matter" slogan and a depiction of King, who was beaten by four police officers following a high-speed car chase through the streets of Los Angeles in 1991. The signs for Normandie and Florence Avenues, site of the 1992 L.A. riots, also appear on the cleats.

Jackson has used his footwear to protest police brutality in the past, donning custom cleats with caution tape on them during the 2016 season.
