Buffalo Bills rookie quarterback Josh Allen is on track to make his return to the lineup after a four-game absence, head coach Sean McDermott said on Monday morning.

Allen is in line to get the start in next Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, but the team will take it day by day with the rookie's continuing recovery from an elbow sprain suffered in Week 6.

Veteran quarterback Derek Anderson remains in concussion protocol and free-agent signee Matt Barkley got the start and win against the New York Jets in Week 10.

More to come.
