It turns out the NFL didn't enjoy the popular video of Quenton Nelson supposedly screaming while making a block as much as football fans did.

The league fined the Indianapolis Colts' first-round guard $26,739 for leading with his helmet on the play versus the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 10, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

No penalty was called on the play and Nelson's appealing the fine, Schefter added.

The video quickly went viral after the Colts posted it Monday, but Nelson later said the audio was edited.

The NFL apparently noted the violation before the Colts tweeted the video with screams, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. The team has since taken it down.
