Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin remained rather neutral Tuesday when discussing the prospect of running back Le'Veon Bell returning to the team before the 4 p.m. ET deadline.
"I've told you guys consistently a reaction comes from me if and when he walks in the door," Tomlin said, according to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.
Bell will be ineligible to play for the remainder of the season if he doesn't report to the team before the deadline.
"So be it," Tomlin said when asked how'd he react if the running back doesn't show up.
Tomlin also said he hasn't thought "one iota" about whether Bell will ever play for him or the Steelers again, according to NFL Network's Aditi Kinkhabwala.
