Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Dirk Koetter confirmed Ryan Fitzpatrick will remain the starting quarterback following Sunday's loss to the Carolina Panthers.
Fitzpatrick completed 24 of 40 passes for 243 yards, four touchdowns, and two interceptions in the 42-28 defeat. The journeyman quarterback will continue to start over Jameis Winston, who was benched after a four-interception performance against the Cincinnati Bengals.
The 35-year-old is in the middle of one of his best seasons to date, throwing 17 touchdowns against seven interceptions in six games.
