The Atlanta Falcons didn't make a major move ahead of this past Tuesday's NFL trade deadline, but they did receive interest from multiple teams wanting to acquire pass-rusher Vic Beasley, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

However, the Falcons remain committed to Beasley, Rapoport adds. The 26-year-old was the No. 8 pick in the 2015 draft and led the league with 15.5 sacks while being named an All-Pro and to the Pro Bowl in 2016, but he's regressed over the past season and a half, recording just six sacks and starting 14 of 21 games played.

Beasley remains under contract for the remainder of this season and for 2019 after the Falcons picked up the fifth-year option of his rookie contract. He'll carry a cap hit of just under $13 million next season.

The Falcons hold a record of 3-4 entering Week 9 and sit third in the NFC South, while battling through the losses of top defenders Keanu Neal, Deion Jones, and Ricardo Allen.
