Los Angeles Rams receiver Cooper Kupp will not play this Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers due to a knee injury, head coach Sean McVay announced.
Kupp was carted off in the second quarter against the Denver Broncos before returning for the second half. McVay stated earlier this week that Kupp would "probably miss" the Week 7 game versus the 49ers while dealing with a reported MCL sprain.
The second-year receiver has excelled in the Rams offense this season, accumulating 438 yards with five touchdowns.
Receiver Josh Reynolds is likely to see increased snaps in Kupp's absence.
