Indianapolis Colts wide receiver T.Y Hilton returned to the team as a full participant at Wednesday's practice after missing each of the past two games due to chest and hamstring injuries.

"The guys need me," Hilton said, according to Andrew Walker of Colts.com. "So I'm here for them."

Hilton sustained both injuries in the Colts' Week 4 meeting with the Houston Texans. He would miss the proceeding contests against the New England Patriots and New York Jets as a result, with the Colts losing both games by a combined score of 80-58.

The four-time Pro Bowler caught 21 of 38 targets for 294 yards and two touchdowns through the first four games of the season. He recorded his first 100-yard game of the year while battling through injuries against the Texans.

Wednesday's participation is a positive sign for Hilton's potential availability against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, but he says he isn't going to rush his return to game action.

"Yeah, but at the same time, I've gotta make sure I'm healthy," Hilton said when asked if he felt pressure to get back out onto the field. "I don't wanna go out there and hurt myself. So, for me, I'll give it a test today. We're in a must-win game, so I've gotta be out there."

Hilton had played all 48 games over the previous three seasons and had only missed two games since entering the league as a third-round pick of the 2012 NFL Draft.

Tight end Eric Ebron has taken over as the Colts' leader in targets, yards, and touchdowns this season in Hilton's absence.
