Peyton Manning has been tapped to host and write an NFL edition of Kobe Bryant's in-depth analysis series "Detail."

Like the NBA version, which premiered during the 2018 NBA playoffs, the new season of "Detail" will see Manning break down film and offer insight into select games from the NFL's current season. The first episode airs Thursday on ESPN+ and will look at Arizona Cardinals quarterback Josh Rosen's Week 6 performance against the Minnesota Vikings.

"I've always enjoyed talking football with coaches, players, and passionate fans, and that's at the core of this show," Manning said in a press release. "I'm honored to help expand Kobe's "Detail" to a football audience."

Added Bryant: "Peyton was my first call to be the NFL athlete due to his unrelenting preparation and study of his craft. The next generation of football players will learn first-hand how one of the greatest players of all time objectively breaks down a game. It's the ultimate film session for anyone who wants to learn and improve."
