Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook is inactive for Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals.
Despite reports suggesting that he would play this week, Cook was ruled out after his hamstring acted up again during a pregame workout, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
Cook was a full participant in practice Thursday but was listed as limited on Friday.
The Vikings had previously intended to keep Cook on a snap count and now hope that he will be available next week.
Latavius Murray and Mike Boone will likely take the majority of carries on Sunday.
