New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is fully embracing the TB12 Method.

Gronkowski adopted Brady's notoriously strict diet and workout regimen after he started training with the quarterback's body coach and business partner, Alex Guerrero, at the TB12 Sports Therapy Center in May 2017. Brady eats a primarily plant-based diet but avoids nightshades such as tomatoes and peppers, and doesn't consume caffeine.

"I'm not super, super crazy, but I'm pretty crazy about (his diet)," Gronkowski said in an interview with Business Insider's Scott Davis. "I like to go with mostly plant-based diet. I'd say about 75 percent and then the other 25 percent, just keeping it clean but eating whatever. Always making sure I get my fruits and veggies in every day."

Gronkowski told Karen Guregian of the Boston Herald last summer that he hadn't reached Brady's "level" of loving avocado ice cream. That's no longer the case.

"I've definitely taken advantage of those opportunities and had plenty of crazy meals I never thought I'd have, never thought I would enjoy," he said. "For example, his avocado ice cream. It's delicious."
