The Seattle Seahawks apparently have no desire to let Earl Thomas go for less than they believe he's worth.
Seattle is "stuck" on their asking price of a 2019 second-round draft pick for the star safety, sources told Adam Schefter of ESPN.
The Kansas City Chiefs aren't interested in Thomas for that level of compensation but remain in the hunt for him if Seattle lowers its price. Meanwhile, the Dallas Cowboys did offer the Seahawks the second-rounder they desired prior to the two teams' Week 3, but Seattle wanted more from Dallas, according to Schefter.
Seattle also hit Thomas with a fine for missing practices last week, sources told Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Thomas held out for the entire offseason, returning just prior to the regular season. The 29-year-old made it clear he remains unhappy with his contract, saying that the team's disrespect of him had been "well-noted."
