Michael Tanenbaum of PhillyVoice spoke to a Dunkin' Donuts employee, and was told the cups were the result of "a mistaken shipment" and they had to use some "because (they) were short of options."
The coffee chain experienced a similar mishap earlier this month when Philadelphia Eagles World Champions cups were mistakenly sent to Boston-area locations.
