Report: Ravens part ways with former 1st-rounder Perriman
Patrick McDermott / USA TODAY Sports
The Baltimore Ravens have waived former first-round pick Breshad Perriman after failing to find a trade partner for the wide receiver, a source told Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
The No. 26 overall pick of the 2015 NFL Draft, Perriman struggled with injuries and drops throughout his career in Baltimore.
With the Ravens transforming their receiving corps with the likes of Michael Crabtree and John Brown this offseason, Perriman became expendable.
The 24-year-old finishes his time with the Ravens with 43 catches for 576 yards.
