Josh Gordon's leave of absence from the Cleveland Browns may not be a lengthy one.
Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reported that the vibe around training camp is that Gordon will return after a "brief absence."
The wideout announced Monday that he would miss the beginning of training camp as part of a health and treatment plan. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported the absence is related to anxiety and mental health counseling.
Gordon has played in just five games since 2014 due to various violations relating to substance abuse.
