Jenkins laments death of 'good friend' found at his home in June

New York Giants cornerback Janoris Jenkins issued his first public comments Thursday about the death of Roosevelt Rene, the man discovered deceased at Jenkins' New Jersey home in June.
Jenkins' brother, William, was charged with aggravated manslaughter. No other concrete details about the incident have emerged.
Jenkins signed a five-year contract with the Giants ahead of the 2016 campaign and was a Pro Bowler two seasons ago.
