Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Nigel Bradham has been suspended one game, the team confirmed Friday afternoon.

The suspension for violating the personal conduct policy stems from a South Beach incident with a hotel worker in July 2016, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. Bradham was arrested at the time by Miami Beach police on suspicion of battery/aggravated assault.

Bradham, who will turn 29 years old at the beginning of the 2018 campaign, started all 15 games he played last season. He recorded eight passes defensed, one forced fumble, one sack, and scored a touchdown.

Originally selected by the Buffalo Bills with the 105th overall pick of the 2012 NFL Draft, Bradham has played 88 career games, piling up five forced fumbles, two interceptions, and 6.5 sacks along the way.

He released the following statement.
