Jackson declines to run 40 at pro day: 'Game speed is going to tell it all'
Quarterback prospect Lamar Jackson didn't run the 40-yard dash at Louisville's pro day on Thursday.
"Game speed is going to tell it all," Jackson said, according to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk. "You’ve (got) to catch me first."
He did attempt roughly 60 throws in front of an audience that included representatives of all 32 teams, according to Dianna Russini of ESPN.
Jackson declined to participate in the 40 at the combine earlier this month amid talk of teams considering him a wide receiver, though he denied those reports.
