Jerome Baker leaving Ohio State for NFL

Ohio State linebacker Jerome Baker announced Monday that he is forgoing his senior season for the NFL draft.

He was an honorable mention for the All-Big Ten team in his 2016 sophomore season after becoming a starter in the second week of the campaign. He played the final seven games of his true freshman season in 2015.

Over three years and 33 games played, the 6-foot-1, 225-pound linebacker racked up 90 solo and 158 combined tackles. He intercepted two passes and recovered three fumbles.
